“This past weekend I had a terrifying ordeal at my home,” the mother of one wrote in a statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday. “Although I am grateful that no one was injured, it was a traumatic experience.”

“The culprits wore masks and gloves and pointed an automatic handgun at my husband and me, demanding that we hand over our valuables,” Kemsley said. “However, with my two young children at home and armed security outside, I had no choice but to comply and cooperate. The perpetrators fled the scene and left behind their victim.”
Kemsley says her side of the story is that the “thug responsible” for the intrusion and an all-terrain vehicle theft that took place around the same time; both incidents have been committed by the same “skinny criminal with tattoos on his face,” she said.
“As far as I know, this individual is still outstanding,” she said. “The one small consolation is that I do believe he is aware of the crime that he committed.”
“We have surveillance video and, unfortunately, the only way that we can get this man off the streets is through the LAPD,” she added. “My heart goes out to anyone that has been a victim of a home invasion or robbery.”
